| 2 C Shortening | 2 t Vanilla | 2 t Soda |
| 2 C Brown Sugar | 8 oz Chocolate Chips | 1 t Cinnamon |
| 2 C White Sugar | 3 C Flour | 1 t Nutmeg |
| 4 Eggs | 2 t Salt | 4-5 C Oats |

Cream shortening, sugars, eggs, vanilla. Mix in flour, soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg. Add in chocolate chips and oats. Use small spoon to place on ungreased cookie sheet, 2 inches apart. Bake at 350 F for 7-10 minutes. |
